Dance Style:   Jazz

Bio:
Ok, so I don't really dance. haha. But I love theatre! Ever since I was little and I watched my oldest brother perform in highschool plays, I've been inspired to follow in his footsteps. As I've gotten older, I've realized that I need to make my own path, but it's still not far from the beaten trail. Whoa, enough analogy!

So maybe I'm not a dancer. I love to act although I'm not sure I'm very good at it, and same with singing. But I'm a very good watcher, and an extraordinary listener, if I do say so myself. I love music of all kinds and I make it a practice to surround myself with it. Some of my favorite bands are Man Man, Death Cab For Cutie, The Dandy Warhols, Cake, Ok Go, well I could go on forever.

Anyway, so I've been involved with this program called Young Actors Summer Theatre for like 4 years now, and it's this little ameture program where we get to mess around, play games, and be creative. The younger kids just mash up fairy tales but us highschoolers get to invent our own crap. lol.

My audition video will be from last years program, "Music 101", which is about a few 80's block heads who learn that there's more to music than just a cranked guitar and a double bass drum pedal. It features the song "All That Jazz" from the musical "Chicago", failry butchered by schoolmates, dance partner Jeananne "Tiny" Kelsey, and Myself. :]]

OMG so there's totally 7 minutes left and youtube is being slow!!! I don't have a video up yet! And I couldn't find the 'All That Jazz' recording but I did it ok? lol

So as I said before, I've got a passion for musical theatre and not much skill, which means I've got a lot of learning to do!! I could really benefit from some dance lessons and it would really be a financial relief if this would pull through.

Second, I want to see A Chorus Line SOOOOOO bad!!! And I promised my best friend Sarah a ticket, so she'll be pissed if I don't win. ;]
