Dance Style:   Jazz

Bio:
I love to dance. It's one of the main reason that A Chorus Line is one of my favorite musicals. I think I would have to say my favorite type of dance is jazz because I like the style of it. I like that while you are doing a dance combination you seem to just flow. I love tap and all other forms of dance as well but I really feel that jazz is my favorite.

I've always loved musical theater. It's probably because I come from a very musical family. I remember my Dad telling me in the 5th grade about A Chorus Line and I was very interested. He told me that his favorite part was I Can Do That. He said he remembered watching the man tap dance and just being unbelievably impressed. That same year for Christmas I asked my mom for the soundtrack and she said she thought it was a little too old for me. So I waited and in the 7th grade there it was, under the Christmas tree, the Original Cast Recording of A Chorus Line. I was very excited. I listened to it right away. I remember laughing, and being moved by some of the stories that were being told. I was excited during I Hope I Get It and I Can Do That, saddened by At the Ballet, I remember laughing during Sing! and being shocked while listening to Hello Twelve Hello Thirteen Hello Love and Dance Ten Looks Three. I remember feeling emotional during The Music and the Mirror and What I Did For Love. But my favorite song had to be Nothing. Because I think that everyone has felt that way at one point in their life. Even if theater or dance isn't their passion they must have felt out of place or that they weren't as good as other people. I love A Chorus Line. It tells truthful stories through beautiful music and captivates the audience with unbelievable dances. I would love the opportunity to see it live. So please vote for me.
